Max Alexander
Expert commercial experience of the telecoms, media and information technology sectors. Max was appointed CEO of Thomson Directories in early 2006. Between 1999 and 2006 he was at the Carphone Warehouse Group, where from 2003 he was managing director of TalkTalk. Before that Max headed Mviva (mobile internet portal business), a joint venture between Carphone Warehouse and AOL. Previously, he was Head of Internet Distribution for BSkyB before joining EPartners, a joint venture between News Corp and Softbank. He has also worked as a consultant to media and sports businesses, including Flextech, Granada, Manchester United and the Premier League. Max started his career as a consultant at McKinsey after gaining a BA in PPE from University College, Oxford.
