  Martin Hunt
Martin’s career spans 25 years in the MedTech industry across a variety of market sectors and commercial roles. During 10 years at American Cyanamid, he worked in pharmaceuticals and wound management before becoming involved in the acquisition of an ophthalmic surgery business. Subsequently, at ConvaTec (Bristol-Myers Squibb), Martin was VP Sales for the Chronic care business covering UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. In 1997, as CEO Martin led a start-up in the IV infusion sector, and then in 1999 he was appointed CEO of TSL, another early stage company with a novel collagen-based biomaterial. TSL was financed by private equity until the IPO in 2001. The company grew rapidly and established world wide distribution partnerships with several multi-national corporations as well as building direct sales and marketing operations in the UK and US. By 2007, the company had annual revenues of over £13m and an exciting pipeline of development projects. In March 2008, TSL plc was sold to Covidien in an all cash transaction at an 88% premium to the share price.
