What are your areas of interest?
H2O invests in transformative technologies in all sectors, at the beginning of the commercialisation process. This may be in the form of a spinout or developing dormant IP held by an existing company.
Why early stage?
H2O has detailed first-hand experience of creating technology companies.
We are best positioned to add value by working along side the inventors and entrepreneurs at this critical phase of a company’s life.
How do you work with technology transfer offices?
H2O is complementary to transfer offices, providing additional resources that create immediate critical mass and forward momentum.
What don’t you do?
Buyouts, major funding rounds, corporate deal making, cash consultancies.
H2O is interested in the individual entrepreneur or inventor. By being selective we remain focused.
Geographical area?
H2O is Oxford based, and we broadly cover the South East, South and Midlands areas of the UK. We are sometimes interested in opportunities outside this area if we feel our management time can usefully add expertise and value.
